Eating healthier is often about making small changes that add up to a big impact. For some, going all in on a specific diet is the best way to get the results they want of looking and feeling better. Here are a few popular diets, their benefits, and some Mission recipes from our Tastemakers for each.

Low- Carb/Keto 

A low-carb diet is generally for people interested in losing weight. It may also be beneficial if you experience symptoms of carbohydrate intolerance like bloating or inflammation. Low-carb diets limit carbohydrates and refined sugars while increasing proteins and healthy fats. 

Also, primarily for weight loss, Keto is a specific low-carb diet that promotes eating higher levels of protein (25%) and fat (75%) and low levels of carbohydrates (5%) in order to induce a state called ketosis.

For this low-carb take on a classic Mexican dish, this Low-carb Steak Fajita Wrap, cook the marinated steak and peppers, and serve them with Carb Balance Whole Wheat Tortillas
