You say taquito, I say flauta. Taquitos and flautas are both filled and rolled up tacos that are baked or fried, typically served as an appetizer or snack. The differences can be the size and whether you use a corn or flour tortilla. Whatever you call them, they are yummy!  We’ve shared some delicious takes on these Mexican favorites.

These Air Fryer Chicken Taquitos are a quick snack option for after school or on game day. Combine chopped rotisserie chicken with salsa. Roll the chicken mixture with shredded cheese into a Carb Balance Soft Taco Flour Tortilla. Spray with cooking oil and cook in an air fryer for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Serve with pico de gallo, guacamole, and Greek yogurt or sour cream.

The garnishes are the stars of this simple Gluten Free Chicken Flautas Recipe. Boil chicken breasts until ready to shred then combine with taco seasoning. Roll in warmed Gluten Free Original Tortilla Wraps and coat with olive oil cooking spray. Bake the flautas until golden brown and serve over a salad of lettuce, chopped tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. Top with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole.

Make the meat by cooking seasoned beef strips, onions, bell peppers with beef stock in a slow cooker for 6-8 hours. Roll cheesesteak meat with sliced Provolone cheese into a warmed Yellow Corn Tortilla. Repeat until all the meat is used, then spray with cooking oil and heat in an air fryer for 6-8 minutes. Turn them over halfway through.

The Baked Taquitos Recipe wraps up pulled pork in barbeque sauce with bacon crumbles in a warmed Gluten Free Original Tortilla Wrap. Seal and brush the rolled taquito with eggs that have been lightly beaten to keep it together and give it a golden brown color after it bakes. Serve with salsa.

Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these Potato and Cheese Flautas in Freshly Made Green Sauce  are flautas recipe perfection! Make the flautas by skillet-cooking diced red potatoes with red peppers until tender and browned. Roll the potato mixture and shredded Colby Jack cheese into warmed Organic Whole Wheat Tortillas. Then fry the rolled flautas in a skillet with oil until browned. Serve with a warm, freshly made green salsa of blended tomatillos, onion, jalapenos, and cilantro.

A dessert taquito? Yes, please! This Churro Cheesecake Taquitos Recipe is one of our favorites. Make cannoli-like flauta shells by rolling up and then frying warmed Street Tacos White Corn Tortillas in hot oil. Sprinkle the fried shells with cinnamon sugar and set them aside. While they are cooling, whip together cinnamon, powdered sugar, vanilla, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Pipe into your fried tortillas and garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon sugar.
