Traditional Salsas

Traditional garden salsa is perfect for classic chips and dip as well as a great way to add flavor to all your Mexican-style favorites. Mission’s Handcrafted Garden Salsa recipe is the perfect blend of tomatoes, red bell peppers, and onions, with a kick of flavor from cilantro, garlic, and serrano. Have an overabundance of fresh garden veggies? Using them for a fresh salsa is a delicious way to make sure they don’t go to waste.

Chips are just naked without salsa! Fresh cucumber and tomato are the base for this delicious chip dip. Cucumber Salsa is perfectly paired with Mission Thin and Crispy Tortilla Chips. Add red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt and pepper and chill for 20 minutes before serving. Yum!

Guacamole salsa, anyone? This famous green dip can be deliciously enhanced with salsa ingredients. Easy Creamy Guacamole Salsa adds tomatillos, sour cream, garlic and lime juice to a base of mashed avocado. Delicious with chips or as an addition to your favorite dishes. Not only does it taste great, but it provides you with a great source of healthy fat. That is a nifty combination of delicious and nutritious!

Fruity Salsas

The fresh fruits of spring and summer make a great base for salsa recipes. Pineapple and peach are among the most delicious fruit salsas to give your guests the feeling that spring has sprung.

This salsa, and recipe is outside the box! Walnut Tacos with Peach Salsa is a new take on a favorite party food. Combine peach, red bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, garlic, and salt and pepper to create this yummy salsa. When added to the walnut tacos and topped with cabbage, sour cream and avocado, this will become a requested dish for all your springtime events.

Salsa with a Kick

Sweet and spicy Mango Habanero Salsa is a unique blend of flavors. Blend a red pepper into a paste for the base of this delicious dip. Add diced and seeded jalapeno, orange bell pepper, and habanero as well as minced red onion, lime juice and cilantro. If you want to give this sweet-and-spicy salsa a smokier flavor, cut the red pepper in half, deseed, place the pepper skin side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and place into a 450ºF degree oven for 25 minutes or until the skins are wrinkled and lightly charred. Dip with your favorite mission chips for a unique salsa taste.
